This is an outtake from the Coordinated Suicides album 'This Could Be Heaven,' which was in the works for a while and will finally be released this year. The song is a manic blur of differing sections united by the narrator’s sense of existential crisis and haunted dislike of the past. I particularly like the way Jonathan Brown’s intelligent and explosive drumming unifies the strangeness of the individual parts into one frantically odd whole, and how Chris Joutras’s bass shifts between crazed runs and grinding heaviness as necessary. Their playing elevates the music.
